About Youth Town

Youth Town of Tennessee offers residential treatment for adolescents ages 13-17 male and female. Youth Town has two campuses separating the boys and girls. We are adventure-based sitting on 278 acres on the boy's campus and 17 on the girl's campus with a lake, pond, zip lines, high and low ropes courses. We have 24/7 direct care staff, George Thomas Academy school, nurse, psychiatrist, licensed therapist, culinary cafeteria staff management, group, family sessions, and individual. Youth Town offers substance abuse co-occurring treatment and mental health treatment. Youth Town also offers outpatient counseling. Youth Town was established in 1964 and has been treating and caring for children ever since. Youth Town takes most commercial insurance and Tennessee Medicaid along with self-pay. The average stay is between 90-120 days.
